"Life is an evolutionary process. When a true change takes place within us, it is subtle and magnificent. We begin to understand the responsibility, power, and freedom we have. Then it becomes easier to take great care of ourselves on all levels. Our relationships improve; we find contentment in a life of sharing, respect, and freedom. Having the courage to be direct, gentle, and honest honors the temple of our soul." - Myra Lewin
Myra Lewin has studied, practiced, and taught Sustainable Yoga, Ayurveda, nutrition, meditation, and energy management for decades.
Previously, Myra had a diverse career in the fields of medicine, executive management, and business consulting. Through Yoga and Ayurveda, Myra obtained complete healing from life-threatening diseases and has since guided many people from destructive habits to fulfilled and vital living.
Myra's studies and teaching come primarily from the Krishnamacharya lineage. The asana is drawn from Iyengar, Ashtanga, and the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli. Her training in Pranayama comes from O.P. Tiwari of Kaivalyadama Institute and Iyengar teachings.
